JOHNSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S POSSE RODEO

It’s Rodeo Time!  If you are looking for a family friendly experience close to home, we suggest going to check out the Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo, June 9-12.

Rodeo tradition and the western way of life runs deep in our area.  The Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo has been a staple of Johnson County since 1953.  Sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), the annual event draws the top professional rodeo athletes from all over the country.  An incentive this year that has been put into place to draw top talent is the rodeo will serve as a qualifying event for the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo’s Tournament.

Each night starting Wednesday, June 9 through Saturday, June 12 there will be a rodeo performance starting at 7:30 pm.  Cade Holliday will be in concert after the rodeo on Friday, and Mike Wasden & The Stone River Band will be playing after Saturday night’s performance.

Put your boots on, load up the family, and come enjoy the rodeo action with us!
