A Lot to Be Thankful For

Tomorrow, we will all gather around the Thanksgiving Table of our choosing.  Turkey will be served with a host of sides to make up a bountiful spread.  Our turkeys may be stuffed and roasted, or they may be prepared in the new fashion of being deep-fried.  The traditional sides of mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, sweet corn, green bean casserole, and an assortment of desserts will likely be served as well.

Our families and friends will be there too.  Some we see all the time, and others not as often.  We will get to catch up on what’s been going on, the latest gossip, and old times will be re-lived.  The Cowboys will be on TV as usual on this day, hopefully with a favorable outcome “this year”.  When the game is over, you might even find yourself outside throwing the football around.

Thanksgiving is made up of a lot of wonderful traditions.  In your family gathering there is likely a few great traditions that we do not have listed here, but that carry just as much weight. 

This year, we would like to invite you to remember the origins of Thanksgiving which was centered around being thankful.  While you are enjoying all the great traditions that make this wonderful holiday so great, please take time to count your blessings.  We are all so busy in life.  It is very easy to take things for granted and not let them be fully appreciated.
