Family Friendly Holiday Events to Add to Your Calendar this Season

The Holiday Season is upon us.  We thought you might like to know about some local family friendly events to add to your calendar this season.  

Below are some great options for the family South and West of Fort Worth...

1.BTX-MAS: Christmas in Burleson -December 2, 2023

The Burleson Rotary Club hosts the annual lighted Christmas parade followed by the City’s tree lighting and drone show. The parade begins at 6 p.m., followed by the tree lighting and drone show at 8 p.m. Singers and dancers entertain the crowd while Santa breaks away from the parade and makes his way to the city stage. The Mayor Vera Calvin Plaza will dazzle with Christmas splendor when the 34-foot-tall Christmas tree, covered with more than 20,000 lights, is turned on by Santa and his helpers. The tree features an interactive Santa’s cabin at the base, creating a perfect backdrop for festive photos. Make sure to stay and watch the spectacular drone show, featuring magical Christmas displays set to holiday music! The drone show will last nine to ten minutes and will be visible from the area indicated on the included map.

2. Holiday in The Park Pathway of Lights in Weatherford – November 29-December 21

Time: 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Tree Lighting – November 29

Join us for an unforgettable experience at our Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 29th. This year’s ceremony will start at 6:30pm at the Heritage Park Amphitheater (503 Santa Fe Dr) and marks the kick-off for a whole month of Holiday in the Park – Pathway of Lights. Witness a spectacular holiday drone show with double the drones from last year and we also have an awesome surprise after the count down! Can you guess what it is? You’ll have to be there to find out!

Pathway Of Lights – November 29 – December 31

Take a magical journey with your loved ones through the enchanting Pathway of Lights at the Heritage Park Amphitheater from November 29 to December 31, between 6:00pm and 9:30pm. Immerse yourself in the festive spirit as you wander through the crisp night air, captivated by the majestic 46 ft. live tree, a dazzling 20 ft. animated tree, and an array of delightful holiday exhibits. This event is free! Stay tuned for more details on food vendor schedule and other exciting activities. Don’t miss out on this enchanting holiday tradition!

3.  Mainstay Farm Park, Christmas Adventure. Select Fri-Sundays in December

1004 W Bethesda Rd, Cleburne, TX 76031.  Enjoy visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, choose and cut your own Christmas Tree, enjoy photo ops, wonderful wine and food, rides, games, and tons of activities for the whole family! 

4. Granbury: A Candlelight Tour of Homes – December 1-3

This is a time when Texas hospitality is irrepressible and the gracious people of Granbury welcome visitors into their historic private residences for the Annual Granbury A Candlelight Holiday Tour of Homes.
